Opportunities Downunder Abound
Australia’s Minister for Industry and Science, the Hon Ed Husic, launched Australia’s renewed National Science and Research Priorities in August 2024. Priorities focus on the net zero transition, healthy and thriving communities, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledge systems, environment, as well as security and resilience. These priorities will offer new opportunities for collaboration through the Australian Research Council.
Australia is not only a lifestyle destination, but offers opportunities for innovation and is one of the most prosperous, safe and culturally diverse countries in the world. Australia’s Global Talent Program offers permanent visas for exceptionally talented and prominent individuals who can raise Australia’s standing in their field. The program establishes migration pathways for individuals with outstanding achievements, particularly high-earning individuals in future-focused sectors. Places under the program can be found here.
There are amazing opportunities for students, early career researchers and professionals. The Australian Government
